Step 1 - Remove the Eyebolt from the SAAV

Using an adjustable or 16mm (5/8") wrench, remove the eyebolt from the far end of the SAAV. This action will require a fair amount of force.

  NOTE: To remove the eyebolt, it is necessary to "break" the threadlock seal between the threads of the eyebolt and the threads of the SAAV.

Step 2 - Prepare the SAAV and the Silent Segments

Remove the silent segments from the reel. Apply the included semi-permanent threadlocker (Loctite or similar) to the threads of the silent string.

Step 3 - Attach the Silent Segments

Attach the silent segments to the SAAV, ensuring there is no cross-threading.

Step 4 - Attach the Eyebolt

Attach the eyebolt to the far end of the silent segments using threadlocker, ensuring there is no cross-threading.
