To shorten a ShapeArray (SAA) it must be sent back to Measurand. Due to the waterproofing systems, it is not possible to shorten a ShapeArray outside of Measurand.

If data is only required from a shorter portion of the ShapeArray, consider instead using the option to Turn off/Ignore Segments which is available in the SAARecorder or SAACR_raw2data applications. This is described in more detail in the 'SAA Setup \ Advanced \ Turn on / off section of SAA' section of the SAARecorder manual or the 'Configure Conversion Settings' section of the SAACR_raw2data manual.
