In the rare case that friction is an issue when inserting the ShapeArray (SAA) into a pre-installed conduit, you can use electrical cable-pulling lubricant to minimize the friction between the ShapeArray and the conduit. Any other lubricants are discouraged since they could damage the ShapeArray's water proofing material.
