Measurand interfaces may sometimes produce a high pitched sound when reading attached ShapeArrays. This is due to resonant frequencies that may be produced based on the ShapeArray attached to the interface. This is normal behaviour that does not affect the functionality of the interface. SAA232, SAA232-5, SAAFPU, and SAAUSB interfaces may display this behaviour.
