Measurand's SAASuite application allows you to check for software updates, and download and install them.
Step 1 - Launch SAASuite and Click the Get Software / Calibration Files Button
To check for software updates, you must first launch the SAASuite application. On the Main Applications tab, click the Get Software / Calibration Files button to open the Software / Calibration Files window.

Step 2 - Review Installed Software
In the Software / Calibration Files window, the status of each Measurand application is displayed using coloured rectangles. A legend describing the software status is displayed near the bottom of the window. The following status colours can be displayed:
- Green: The latest release of the software is installed
- Blue: A beta version of the software is installed
- Yellow: An older version of the software is installed. An update is available.
- Red: The software is not installed
Figure 2: The Software / Calibration Files window displays the status of each Measurand application - e.g. updates are available for SAARecorder and SAACR_FileGenerator
Step 3 - Download and Install the Updated Software
Software for which updates are available will be highlighted with a yellow rectangle. You can update the software by clicking on the Download and Install button next to it. After the updated version of the software is installed, it will be highlighted in green.
NOTE: No status is presented for Calibration Files. It is important to ensure you have the calibration files for your ShapeArrays installed. The Calibration Files package is updated as each new ShapeArray is produced at Measurand's facilities. If you are working with new ShapeArrays, it is a good idea to download and install the latest Calibration Files package.
If a beta version of the software is available, the Download and Install Beta Version button will be enabled. Clicking this button will download and install a beta version of the software. Beta versions are made available to quickly address and test critical issues with the software. Beta versions of the software have not been fully tested in our Software QA process and are meant for testing purposes only. In most cases, only the latest fully released version of the software, accessible with the Download and Install button, should be used.
