It is often helpful for Measurand Support to have detailed information about your computer and its operating system when troubleshooting software issues. This information can easily be gathered using the systeminfo command utility included with all versions of Microsoft Windows. To gather pertinent information about your computer, please run the systeminfo command and send the results to Measurand support along with a description of your issue. You can can do this by taking the following steps on your computer.
- Hold down your Windows key and hit 'R'
- In the Run dialog, type CMD and hit the Enter key. This will open a command line window.
- In the command line window, type in the following command and hit the Enter key: systeminfo > systeminfo.txt
- Email the resulting systeminfo.txt file to support@measurand.com. This file should be located in the path shown in the prompt of your command line window (e.g. it should be something similar to c:\Users\User_Name)
