Measurand's Software is installed to the C:\Measurand Inc folder. Users of the software must have full control permissions on this folder and all subfolders and files within the folder in order for the software to operate. You can verify your folder permissions by checking your effective access permissions on the folder. You may need to consult with your IT administrator to perform these steps if your user account has limited permissions on your computer. 

Step 1 - Open Folder Properties

Open a Windows File Explorer window (Windows key + E). Navigate to and right-click on the C:\Measurand Inc folder. Select the Properties option.

Step 2 - Open Advanced Security Settings

Click on the Security tab and then click on the Advanced button.

Step 3 - Check Effective Access

Click on the Effective Access tab. Click on the Select a user link. Enter your computer login account into the Enter the object name to select textbox and click on the Check Names button. Click the OK button and then click on the View effective access button.

Your effective access permissions should now be displayed at the bottom of the window. You should ensure that you have a green checkmark next to the Full Control permission. You may need to consult with your IT administrator if you do not have this permission.
